A new way to record a conference

During the two days of SLF, events were captured as Conference in Pictures, where the images were drawn live, transforming verbal content of seminars and discussions into a gallery of pictures where delegates could then view, revisit topics and contribute with their own comments via post-it notes. See a selection from the images that were made during SLF 2009.

This was a great idea that captured the interest of delegates over the two days and may be something that others may find useful to use in discussions with teachers.

If you want to use the cartoons you will need to get a free screen grabber which will allow you to get a cartoon – I am using Screen Grab Pro.

Eric in Estonia

As part of a continuing support programme with Estonia I am this week working with teachers in the Ida Viru region of Estonia and also presenting at an international event they are holding on Thursday and Friday this week.

To try and get connections happening I have created a blog for the week and teachers can pop in and see what is happening and maybe enter into any conversations that happen over the week.
